Assistant Coach
Mark Jester graduated from Lamar High School in Arlington, Texas and received a B.S. in Kinesiology from Stephen F. Austin State University. He has 25 years of experience as a teacher and coach in the state of Texas. This is his first year on staff at Marcus High School as the assistant tennis coach. His tennis coaching experience prior to Marcus High School has been as a head coach in Crowley ISD, Lewisville ISD, and Burleson ISD. He has also been an assistant tennis coach in Arlington ISD, Mansfield ISD, White Settlement ISD, and Eagle Mountain-Saginaw ISD. He has also taught private lessons, junior development drills, and adult drills out of the Arlington Tennis Center. Coach Jester is also certified in Secondary Mathematics and has taught high school mathematics since 1996. He is married with two young daughters. His wife, Lisa, is also a math teacher in Lewisville ISD and his children attend an elementary school in the district.
